Pastel? That's Right...

I found this amazing blazer. I loved it but wasn't sure about the pastel pink aspect. But I really love it with my hair color. Also, I think the grey lapels help it look less 80's and more modern.

Not that looking 80's is a bad thing. Hell, i lived it and owned it in the 80's, why not 2010? I remember a friend that I worked with when I was twenty. She was wearing four watches. As a joke, I asked her if she knew what time it was. Oh man. If looks could kill, I wouldn't be alive today. She looked at me for what felt like a full minute, then she said, "I have no idea what time it is." And walked away. God, I miss her. She and I became best friends. See? Clothes bring back memories. And I've recently seen girls wearing multiple watches again. It's amazing how fashion recycles.

I wore a bright pink scarf to bring out some more of the pink in the blazer. Very casual look with distressed boyfriend jeans and a tee. Threw on some accessories of interest. Flats covered in grommets and a HUGE cocktail ring. I had fun with this outfit. Hope you guys like it.

Ooh, I love this one. Especially the blazer! When you get tired of that one I have dibs. =)

I love that once upon a time YOU were the smartass in the office. And then I was the smartass, and WE became friends! It's a beautiful cycle.

Ah, I love the blazer! The blushy pink color is genius, and I feel like this is a piece you could easily dress up or down - casual like you've worked it here, but also dressed up with a little black number and some pumps. Great look!

I agree, Halie. Next version will be a dressy one.

Kris, you are my smartass friend for always!

The pink scarf does it for me, point of dark focus, nicely juxtaposed but enhancing...
