I wore my leopard peep-toe pumps to work on Friday. I was putting this outfit together and I just couldn't resist these shoes purring at me from the back of my closet. I gave in but halfway through the day I remembered why I don't wear them. They slip off the back of my foot while I'm walking. This is a problem. You know the kind? Where you have to curl your toes just right to keep the shoe from falling off or kicking it across the room with every step? It's a could calf workout though.
So, back in my closet they go for another long cat nap. Then I will forget why I'm not wearing them, wear them, remember they are defective, and so on. And so on....
I hope you're having a wonderful weekend.

That's a very chic look. I have some items with the same story: they're uncomfortable so I only wear them after I forgot why I don't.
I guess this makes us like sisters. Well, maybe not, but I'll reach for anything to live that dream. :)
I have a pair of killer peep toes with the same issue. Then I discovered heel liners by Dr. Scholl's. Now they are snug and no need to do the tie curl walk. You should give it a try cause those shoes are awesome! I was trying to figure out how to incorporate the animal print into my wardrobe this fall. Perhaps a scarf or clutch.... I haven't found any cute shoes yet like yours. Sooooo happy that it is cooling down on the East Coast - I looove layering and Fall is the perfect season for it :) Have a great long weekend.
I hate that about shoes. I have a few pairs like that and I've just decided to get rid of them since I don't like them that much anyway. Hahahahahaha. Ha. Take that, shoes.
I think this might be a new favorite outfit from you for me. You know.
Ah, that is the worst. It literally kills the back of my heels went my foot slips out every five seconds.
I actually was really excited when I saw your outfit because I just bought of pair of peep toe leopard pumps that look totally similar....alas, they are Nine West. But super cute and I can't wait to wear them! I've been buying heels lately that are a wee bit snug just so I can avoid that heel-slipping-out problem.
Loveee the outfit though, the colors are beautiful and so chic for fall. Totally something I would wear. With my new leopard print peep toes, of course.

Ohhhh, we all have shoes like this. I have quite a few pairs that I never wear because they are defective in some way, but then I forget and wear them until I remember, "Oh, yeah. Shit." It's a problem, but it is also the price we pay for fashion.
They're super cute. It's worth it.

Sorry to hear those fabulous pumps aren't wearable! what a bummer.
Love the look though, they really were the perfect way to complete the outfit.
Chic on the Cheap
I have heels like that but I like you squeeze the toes, spend the majority of the day sitting and admire the chic shoes! You look beautiful-I love the layering and you always have the best accessories!
loving the jewelry here and i will have to try my newly cut off sleeve jean jacket to vest with my gray shirt
love the shoes, but i understand, have you tried those gel things for grippage? sometimes they work, sometimes they don't

Oh, I love them. But they must go! Uncomfortable clothes take up valuable space which can be used by comfortable, also cute clothes. I learned this from you and it has changed my life. And my blisters.
