Red Jeans: The Look For Less

Yesterday I talked about my love affair with J Brand. I've been lusting after their red jeans for awhile but I just couldn't justify the cost.

So, I decided to order these by BDG from Urban Outfitters . They were only $29.99. Compare that to the ones by J Brand for $176. While I would prefer J Brand over all other brands of jeans and pants, I'm not made of money. Here's the look for less. A LOT less.

This rich saturated red is exactly what I've been looking for. I would caution you to order a size smaller than you normally wear. These are a bit big in the waist and they get bigger throughout the day.

I hope this post helped if you've been hunting for the perfect red jeans.

Pants: BDG (Urban Outfitters)
Tank: Juicy Couture
Vest: Gap
Platforms: Jeffrey Campbell (on super sale at Urban Outfitters for $50!!!)
Sunglasses: Elizabeth and James

Great find! My red jeans are also a cheaper version, but I agree, if I could only wear J Brand I would. Love the belted vest, too!

Ooohhh!!! What a gorgeous shade of red. The only thing I'd caution you about is not to walk past any bulls...

I need red jeans so bad. It isn't even funny. I feel like I could do so much with them.

Besides, you always look great in jeans. That goes without saying.

so you have just made my day
UO always has the cutest pants and i never even think about trying them on because i just automatically think they run super small.
now you are saying the run big. lol
when the shopping ban is over i will have to try some on.
you are looking smokin' in your red jeans!!

A perfect fit and a perfect price. I love looking at everyone else, but for some reason am not drawn to the colored jeans for me. However, you look amazing in them!

OMG you're doing your impression of me in pic #5 again!

Nice jeanz, girl. You are so brave. I see those jeans at Urban Outfitters and they look like they'd only fit a toothpick, so I walk by them, all nervous-like. Although I did own a pair once. And then the waist stretched out and I didn't have a big enough fupa to fit in it anymore. So I gave them away.

That's a nice story, isn't it?

I AM JEALOUS OF YOUR SUMMER. And your super-steal wedges.

Love those on you! I jsut went through the same thing, dying for the AG stevies at anthropologie that were $158. Instead I got red zara jeans for $35 and green urban outfitters ones for $58- two pairs instead of one and I still saved some money :)

I have those pants too! I ordered my usual size and are fine in the morning, but after all day of sitting they did get rather stretched. Belting helps a lot though, and I think a roll in the dryer would do them some good.

Still, love the color, and the price!
