Staying Warm

I'm having fun with layers and finding sweaters in my closet to wear. I built this outfit around this leather skirt that I got for $30 on Poshmark. It's just a group of ladies buying and selling clothes from their own closets. Pretty cool.

It's foggy and chilly here today, so I decided to wear this comfy sweater, tights, socks and boots. This scarf is the real warmth though. It's another one of those scarf/security blankets. I feel like I'm being lovingly hugged all day long wearing scarves like this. The military jacket definitely gives it the rough edge that the outfit needed.

By the way, this is what my hair looks like when I wash it at night and let it air dry and then sleep on it. Messy and wavy or more like bendy really.

Skirt: DKNY via Poshmark
Sweater: Urban Outfitters
Scarf: Loft
Boots: Candies
Jacket: Gap
Bag: DKNY via TJ Maxx
Sunglasses: Ray Ban

Ooh I love this look! That leather skirt is killer and you paired it perfectly with the pattern tights and great boots. I am seriously so jealous of your sweater. It's the perfect mix of slouchy, knit, chic!

Hmm, I'm looking at this Poshmark website and it intrigues and intimidates me at the same time. Might have to get the app. Because I love your skirt!!!

(I know that was an incomplete sentence. Don't let Eee-an see. I-an, neither. He'd really be upset.)

I like your bendy hair. I wash mine at night and let it air dry all the time. Sometimes I wake up and it looks good. Other times, not so much...

OK, Tracy, this might just be my favorite outfit of yours EVER!!! I love every single piece of it (you know how much I love my leather skirt and I would have added that sweater you're wearing to my recent sweater collage) I'm just blown away by this and running into my closet to try and re-create it NOW!
Oh, and adding you to pinterest for eternal inspiration :)

That's the hair style I always attempt to create by sleeping on wet hair but alas that is not the result I get! I love this leather skirt and the layering is perfect for the season.

Crochet sweaters are my favourite layering pieces- but it's so hard to find a good one! I just love yours. The cream shade and wide knit are just gorgeous. I never would have thought to pair it with a leather mini, but the result is gorgeous :)

I LOVE this look and especially that gorgeous sweater. Great styling - I may have to copy you.

Also, I wanted to let you know I gave you a couple of blog awards on Friday if you want to pop by!

Your hair always looks amazing, but it has so.much.damn.body. in these pictures. My hair gets a totally different look when I don't dry it, too.

This skirt is perfect. I have been on the hunt for one like this for such a long time.

P.S. I love your crazy, stalker-esque comments. Keep them coming.
