I've always been a fan of Gwyneth Paltrow's personal style. All the paparazzi shots of her wearing every day clothing have inspired me to look put together while staying casual and comfortable. She is one of my all time style icons.
When I saw the "Ready For Spring" newsletter on her website, Goop, I immediately fell in love with this look. It's definitely a "go to" look for me; blazer with boyfriend jeans and heels, but adding a colored blazer is just so much cuter.
Here's my take on this look. Oh, and my look is for WAY less.
Blazer: Zara
Blouse: Express (Spring 2011)
Jeans: Rich and Skinny (found at Buffalo Exchange for $18)
Shoes: Loft
Scarf: Old Navy
Sunglasses: Just Cavali via Gilt
Bag: Paul and Joe Sister via Gilt

I think you might be her style icon. I prefer the way you do it :)
I love Gwynie! U rocked that outfit girly! Well done. I have so wanted to re-create that outfit, need a red blazer. TGIF
I agree with Piper. You do it better!

You outdid the inspiration! I still associate Gwyneth (I had to look back at your post title to figure out how to spell it) with the minimalism of the late 90s but it's true she has a pretty awesome casual street style. Maybe marrying Chris Martin rubbed off?
I love her too! and wow, you both do have very similar styles!! (I bet she stole it from YOU) lol
Happy Saturday hunnie....lookin great in that red blazer #...:)
I love the red strap on those shoes. Love it! You're reminding me that I definitely need more colored blazers (and sweaters, and every kind of warm thing -- all I seem to own are grey and black things).
I want your red blazer. I need a red blazer. I have a plethora of blazers already, but I don't have red, and that makes me sad. Mehhhhhh. I have a new mission in life now.

Oh yeah you look stunning! I didn't even know Ann Taylor had heels- what a fun pair and they match your scarf and blazer to a t! I love the satisfaction of looking as good as a celeb (or in your case, better) on a budget!
To me, you're a celebrity. Do you know Stella McCartney, too?
I love her style too! and you totally rock her look, Tracy! for WAAAAAY less :)

I think you wore it better! Not a huge fan of boyfriend jeans, never have been. They are just so unflattering and unbecoming. Oh well, wear what works for you, right?

Making our rounds to say hello! You look way better than Gywenth :) That is one awesome blazer and scarf combo!
Oh, Tracy, this is SUPER cute!! The baggy jeans and the fitted blazer are so perfect. I'm copying you. =)
Tracy, such a perfect recreation of Gwyneth's look! You know how much I love a dressed up pair of bf jeans! You look fantastic! x www.casualglamorous.com
Wow...you did the look way better...so cute!! I just love that bag!!!
I have to agree with Piper - I think you might be Gwyneth's style icon. You wear this look brilliantly. Far better than she does, in my opinion :) Slight bias of course because I think you're fabulous and Gwyn doesn't really float my boat but still... Your jacket and jeans shine far beyond hers. The perfect casual ensemble award definitely goes to you1
