Simplicity

It's raining here and it will be for days to come. So, I will be wearing very simple outfits this week. Today, I'm wearing black jeans, a plain white blouse and a black blazer. Very simple but I can't be bothered to figure out anything else while the weather is like this. I don't know how you guys who live in snow all winter figure out what to wear. I would wear three sweaters layered one on top of the other and fuzzy pants. I don't even know if they exist but I would wear them.

Thank you all for your incredibly generous comments on my last post. I was shocked by how many of you thought I did the look better than Gwyneth. That was an unexpected reaction. I'm honored and blushing.

Blazer: Elie Tahari
Blouse: Old Navy
Jeans: Urban Outfitters
Boots: Express
Scarf: Garage sale ($5)

It is simple, but it's perfect in its simplicity. You nailed it with the addition of the scarf!

I agree with Gracey -- perfect simplicity. You put together outfits that work with subtlety.

And you shouldn't be surprised that we admire you -- you're terrific!

Dressing for snow is fun for like, three days. And then I'm over it. I mean, you can only wear fair isle, plaid, and those fuzzy pants you speak of for so long, you know?

Simple is fine. This look may be simple for you, but it's a million times better looking than what most people wear when they're "dressed up."
